BABOK Knowledge Area - Elicitation. Elicitation is used by a Business Analyst to derive the underlying needs from the Stakeholders. The Business Analyst can choose various techniques to elicit requirements depending on the stakeholders' experiences, complexity of the domain, culture and other factors.

The following topics will be covered:
1) What is Elicitation?
2) What are the various techniques used to Elicit requirements?
3) Input/Tasks/Outputs 

Speaker

The presentation will be conducted by Nicole-Ann Menezes, a Certied Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)  who also has a Bac.Bus. Computer & Information Systems and a MBA.
She joined IBM Australia in August 2001 and was recently transferred to IBM Canada in April 2010. 
She has worked in various teams during her 8 year tenure in IBM Australia. 
One her most recent roles was an Asia Pacific Business Analyst and Team Lead for the Global Logistics Business Area. 
Currently she is the World Wide Data Services Gateway Business Analyst and Project Lead, in IBM Canada. 
Prior to Joining IBM she worked in AMP Capital Investors from 1995 - 2000 as a Marketing Database Management and Coordinator. 
Her other interests include martial arts, she has attained her Brown Belt in Karate in Goju and Shotokan Style.
